Basement Finishing Design Class

Dave is the owner of Basement Spaces, the premier basement remodeling company, as well as the author of the book, Basement Ideas. He has appeared on CNN and CBS, as well as contributed to many publications on the subject. In short, Dave is the expert on the subject.

Dave will now be sharing his expertise, conducting a class. Here you will learn, in two sessions, all the principles you need to master to successfully turn your basement into usable living space.

The Class

Session I

Covers the basics of design, functionality and artfully concealing the obstructions that are making your basement hard to plan. Your own copy of the easy to learn design software is included.

You will learn how to measure and lay out a drawing that will be used in the next session to design your basement.

Session II

Here it gets really exciting. You will design your basement, down to the last outlet and switch, ensuring you are following all codes and regulations. You will also find out what you can do yourself, and who you may need to hire - based on your experience.

You will do a final tweak of your design - determining all of your material needs. Over the years we have built vast resources that can be trusted. These will be provided to you.

By session end everything, from soup to nuts, will be covered.
